The report that sells the repair โ finished before you leave the driveway.
FlueReport does one thing: NFPA 211 Level 1 & 2 inspection reports, written on your iPad as you walk the job. Photos land on the finding, severity tags and code references fill in, and the homeowner โ and their realtor โ get a branded PDF while your ladder's still on the truck. Keep Housecall Pro or Jobber for everything else.
No annual contract. Whole crew, one price.

Sample report โ this is what your customer holds
Fall rush is coming. Your reports shouldn't wait for it.
October through December the phones ring faster than you can answer them. Four inspections a day, forty photos per chimney sitting in a camera roll โ and the reports get typed up at the kitchen table at 9pm, or Thursday, or never. Meanwhile the customer's already gotten a second opinion, and the finding you didn't write down? You own it.
How it works
Walk the checklist
Level 1 and Level 2 flows organized the way you actually inspect: exterior, crown, flue, smoke chamber, firebox, clearances to combustibles. Nothing gets missed on the fourth job of the day โ and nothing undocumented comes back on you.
Snap, tag, done
Photos drop straight onto the finding โ draw the arrow on the crack, tag it hazard / needs attention / acceptable, and the NFPA 211 reference fills in. The camera-roll-to-Word shuffle is gone.
Deliver PDF + estimate
A branded report the homeowner, their realtor, and their insurance company can actually read โ with your repair estimate attached while the photos are still scary. That's how a $300 inspection becomes a reline job.
Built for the iPad in your hand
Big touch targets that work with gloves on. The whole Level 2 flow on one screen โ checklist on the left, finding in front of you, photo markup with your finger. Works with zero bars in the basement; syncs from the driveway.
Product mockup โ Level 2 in progress, checklist to finding to PDF
The report is money. The report is armor.
Money โ it sells the repair
The written report with photos is what separates you from the $99 coupon guy โ he doesn't leave one; you do. And when the customer's holding a page that shows the cracked tile with a code reference under it, your reline quote isn't a sales pitch. It's the obvious next step.
Armor โ standard of care, in writing
Realtors forward your report. Insurers read it after a fire. Code officials look for a qualified signature on it. Every finding you documented is proof you met the standard of care โ
and if it's not in the report, it didn't happen.
Time-stamped findings, photo evidence, severity tags, and your license numbers on every page. The report protects the homeowner's house and your business in the same PDF.
Level 2 for a closing on Friday? Handled.
Real-estate inspections are your highest-stakes reports โ a buyer's option window ticking, a realtor who'll judge you by the PDF, no room for "I'll email it next week." FlueReport's Level 2 flow covers the accessible portions checklist top to bottom and delivers a report a realtor forwards instead of questions โ same day, from the driveway.
Keep your CRM. Fix your reports.
You already schedule and invoice in Housecall Pro or Jobber โ that part of your business works. What the big chimney platforms actually charge $135โ450/month for is mostly what you already own, plus the one thing you're missing: a real inspection report writer. FlueReport is just that one thing, at a price a one-truck shop can justify.

Launching October 2026 โ before the phones melt
We're finishing the build with a founding group of working sweeps. Two quick questions, then your email โ founding companies lock in $79/mo for good.
Rather talk than type? We're paying working sweeps for 15-minute research calls โ book one here. A person answers, not a bot.
From the builder
Straight up: I'm a software developer, not a sweep. I won't pretend otherwise โ this trade runs on 40-year veterans and it should. What I build is small, fast tools, and what I heard from sweeps is the same story every time: the business runs fine in Housecall Pro, but the reports live in a camera roll and a Word template, and they get written at 9pm during the exact months you're busiest.
So the deal is this: I build the report writer, a founding group of working sweeps tells me what a real Level 2 needs, and their checklist requests get built first. What it doesn't do: scheduling, invoicing, payments, marketing โ you have those. One product, one price that never rises on founding members, and my direct email below.

Straight answers
Does it replace ChimSpect or Housecall Pro?
It replaces the report-writing part only, on purpose. Keep scheduling, invoicing, and payments wherever they live today โ FlueReport sits beside your CRM and does the inspection report better than an all-in-one ever will, at $79 instead of $135โ280.
What about my techs who only carry phones?
Built iPad-first because that's the best tool for a photo-heavy report โ but it runs on iPhone too, and a tech can shoot findings on a phone that land in the same report. Android crew? Say so in the signup form; it directly decides our roadmap order.
Are the checklists really NFPA 211-based?
The Level 1 and Level 2 flows follow NFPA 211's inspection scopes โ exterior, crown, flue, smoke chamber, firebox, clearances โ with a code reference available on every finding. Every checklist is editable: your company standard can be stricter than code, and the report will show it.
What happens with no signal on the job?
Everything works offline โ checklist, photos, markup, the whole report. It syncs when you're back in coverage and sends from the driveway or the next parking lot.
Will the price go up on me later?
Founding companies lock $79/mo for good โ capped at 25, in writing. No annual contract either; we'd rather earn October than lock you in through it.
